If your looking for a great mailing list manager, look no further.  I think that if you are just starting out with your business or perhaps you want something more affordable and you need a powerful, FREE mailing list manager you should try MailChimp.  I use Mail Chimp myself and I love it.

This is what you get with MailChimp’s free account:

  • Store up to 500 subscribers
  • Send up to 3,000 emails a month

They even have Pay-As-You-Go Pricing for those that need the flexibilty. This is great for those times that you have more emails to send out for promos, holiday special or an announcement.  This gives you the opportunity to add more “Email Credits” without having to change your plan.

Create A Free Blogger Account

If you ever thought about creating a blog, but thought it might be a bit overwhelming to start one, you’re in for a nice treat. It really isn’t that hard to start one. Actually, I think most people have a harder time keeping one going, because of other commitments and responsibilities. I’ll give you some tips on that subject on another post. For now lets just focus on creating your new blog.

1. First go to http://blogger.com

2. On the right hand side click on the BIG orange button that reads “CREATE A BLOG”.

3. If you don’t have a Google account like Gmail or Google Groups, you’ll just have to create one. If you do, just sign into your account.

4. Now you’ll be asked to enter the title of your blog and the URL you want for your blog, like “myblogsname.blogspot.com”. (FYI: This doesn’t have to be the same as the title of your blog.)

5. Next, just choose one of their free themes which you can change later. Now click on “Continue”.

6. Now you are done and click on “Start Blogging”. If you have a custom domain name that you’ve purchased, you could add it by clicking on Advanced Setup Options.

That wasn’t to bad, huh? Next time I’ll explain how to change you Blogger template. Happy Blogging!
